7:15am to 3:30pm.*
*The library may be closed during these hours if a class visit or a meeting has been scheduled.
The computer research lab is open to students whenever it is not in use by a class. A pass is required for use during regular class time. Students must abide by the District's Acceptable Use Policies while using the computers in the library.
Need to do research for a class project? Use Mesa View's EBSCO database subscription to find reliable information that will help you quickly and easily locate all of the information you need to complete your project. See the librarian for the username and password, and for a demonstration on how to use EBSCO!
All students will be issued a Student ID card with a barcode of their 10-digit permanent ID number. Don't forget to bring it to school everyday.
You will need this card to check out books and to use the computers.
Students may check out up to three books at a time for two weeks.
Textbooks do not count in the total of books checked out.
You may renew a book as many times as needed to complete it as long as it is not requested by another student or needed for a class research assignment.
Books may be returned by placing them in the book drop at the circulation desk.
Treat the books with care both in and out of the library. Materials must be returned in good condition or there will be a charge.
Most textbooks are checked out through the library. It is recommended that students cover all of their textbooks and write the barcode for each book in a safe place to refer to later.
Students are responsible for returning the same books checked out to them. Students will be charged a fee for each book not returned or returned damaged, and for workbooks lost and replaced during the year.
Unreturned or Damaged Textbook Fees
Textbooks that are checked out through the library must be returned to the library. Teachers will not be responsible for textbooks left in their classroom.
